This organisation are looking for a Finance Officer to join their busy Finance Department.

This department is responsible for all client, customer, subcontractor, supplier and employee payments as well as controlling in house purchasing of materials, stock control and the company fleet.

Main Duties
- Processing incoming invoices and payments for Subcontractors and Suppliers
- To raise purchase orders for plant, equipment and materials
- To assist in management of the Fleet administration
- Maintain accurate records at all times
- Archiving and filing management
- Point of contact for incoming customer calls
- Point of contact for materials deliveries.
- Shared responsibility for keeping stores area tidy and organised
- General administrative duties and ad-hoc projects
- Assist in ensuring that effective financial systems and procedures are in place and being adhered to.
- Provide good, clear precise communication and ensure effective liaison with clients and their residents, on all aspects of the service provided via phone, email and in person.

Essential Skills/Experience
- 5 GCSE’s(or equivalent) at Grade A-C including Maths, English and IT
- Excellent Microsoft office skills
- Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team
- Proactive attitude toward workload and tasks
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Keen desire to progress within the business

Desirable Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience of Sage software
- Interest in Finance
- Experience of sourcing and purchasing building supplies.
- Previous Admin experience
- Customer service experience

Location: Sidcup Head office, Samuel House, 7 Powerscroft Road, Sidcup, DA14 5DT
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00 am – 5.00 pm OR 8.30 am -5.30 pm (TBC)
Salary: £15,000 - £18,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Position will be subject to a six month probation period

As part of the interview process you will be required to complete an aptitude test and a short skills test.
