This company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of practitioner-specified procedure packs, dressing packs, medical disposable and theatre products to healthcare professionals.

They currently have a vacancy for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Newmarket working Monday to Friday 09.00 – 17.00.

Reporting to their Director of Finance your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include::

- The day to day running of the finance team and supervision of the Management Accountant, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger staff.
- Maintaining the company’s financial systems
- Monthly management reporting, yearly statutory accounts and other reporting, as appropriate.
- Budgeting and Financial Planning.
- Cash forecasting and management.
- Liaising with all professional advisors including bankers, insurance brokers, pension advisors and auditors.
- Ensuring all statutory reporting and payment requirements including VAT and PAYE are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Any other tasks as necessary to ensure that the business is financially sound and commercially competitive.
- To deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Effective interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to build positive cross-functional business relationships
- Relevant experience showing continued role development and increased responsibility.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Self-starter with a proven ability to be successful in a fast moving environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; willingness to accept responsibility for projects/processes and ability to work with limited direct supervision
- Excellent computer skills are essential, including advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task are essential
- Detail oriented, organised, analytical, dependable & flexible
