This thriving and expanding manufacturing business require a competent and driven Finance Director to join their executive team and take a very active role in their future growth.

As one of the London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ and a fast growing business, they pride themselves on being an entrepreneurial business with ambitious plans.
Having undergone a programme of investment and asset replacement, they have proactively built their senior team and now require a new Finance Director to play a pivotal role within that executive leadership team.

About the role:
Responsible for contributing to the strategic business plan and ensuring effective governance and controls over the financial operation.

Finance:
- Production and analysis of company financial KPIs and the provision of timely and accurate financial management information.
- Continual review of financial processes and development in line with business requirements.
- Manage the procurement strategy and plan to deliver cost effectiveness for the business.
- Develop and maintain all necessary systems, policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient financial management.
- Carry out all required actions to ensure the company meets its legal and financial obligations.
- Oversight of high quality monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Cash flow monitoring and capital and asset management duties.
- Finance contact for any future potential acquisitions and due diligence.

Executive/Management
- Deliver valuable contributions at manager and executive meetings/discussions.
- Promote, develop and maintain credible and effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
- As a member of the senior executive team, provide leadership and direction, implement change and development, and provide robust support.
- Lead, manage, support and develop a committed finance team, to enable continued performance and progression.

About you:
You will be looking for a new challenge in a growing business where you will be required to provide expert advice and support to the leadership team. Ideally you will have worked in a manufacturing environment but, if not, then you should be able to articulate how your skills will adapt to such an environment. You must be a qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIPFA) finance professional.
