This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding technology based business at an early stage and form part of an impressive management team.
The role will likely be for 1 or 2 days per week and the candidate must demonstrate strong core accounting and financial management skills, excellent governance, compliance and risk management expertise, and experience of working with fast growth software and technology based ventures
Reporting to the Chief Executive and the Board of Directors, you will be joining a team that aims to scale the business rapidly in the next year and convert some already very exciting pipeline clients. In a highly strategic and commercial role, you will have overall control and responsibility for managing all financial aspects of the business and management of the small finance team..
Skills / Experience:
- Hold a professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Solid proven experience in senior management/Board level and experience of managing a small team
- Excellent commercial awareness and general business experience
- Excellent financial modelling ability
- Strong experience of technology businesses
- Experience of working with investors and VC/PEs, raising funding and managing investor relations
- Strong IT skills and an up to date understanding of new technologies
