We are looking for a part-time Finance Director to run an ongoing fundraising process.
This innovative company is PE backed and is in the biotech / life sciences sector. The new investment will support their continued growth.
The company is running a further round of fundraising and requires the support of a part-time Finance Director to run the process through to its close. The project will include the provision of robust financial due diligence, data room creation, input to the pitch deck, chasing legal and other paperwork and answering ongoing queries from existing and new investors.
You will have a hands-on approach yet also be comfortable providing high level advice to the CEO and investors.
Please note that for this project, you must have had prior experience of VC fundraising (multiple investors and £10m+) and knowledge of the biotech / life sciences sector is compulsory.
We anticipate that this assignment will require 2 days' work per week.
They require an immediate start and estimate the project to run until Christmas, possibly beyond.
The position is based in Cambridge.
