The opportunity:
They are looking for a Finance Assistant to assist the financial director in maintaining records, producing reports and operating efficient financial controls. You will be working as part of a small team so you will also be responsible for general administration duties like answering the phone, dealing with deliveries and mail.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Coding and processing all purchase invoices and credits
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparation of monthly supplier payments and remittances
- Managing supplier queries in a timely manner
- Processing expenses and petty cash
- Processing of credit card expenditure
- Preparation and issue of client statements
- Weekly bank reconciliations
- Assisting with the raising and posting of sales invoices
- Maintaining records by storing e-invoices and scanning and filling hard copy documents
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as required

You will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong communication, organisational and analytic skills
- Commitment to accuracy and excellent attention to detail and administration skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional levels of service
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office - Word, Excel
Experience of Sage or other similar accounting packages is preferred, although not essential as training will be provided
