Finance Assistant

Awarded Business Insider ‘Scotland Best Employer 2016’ and Clyde Awards ‘Scotland Best Workplace 2016’, this fast growing lead generation company is recruiting a Finance Assistant to support current business growth and an expanding finance team. A specialist IT lead generation business with over 85 staff, they offer their technology clients Qualified Sales Appointments for a fixed cost, with 3 dedicated teams specialising in Solutions, Managed Services & Enterprise. The group includes, Software Advisory Service (SAS) – a trusted, independent, intermediary helping IT buyers engage with Technology and Telecoms partners.

Your duties:

- Purchase ledger control, including processing bank payments.
- Sales invoicing & credit control.
- Supporting the sales forecasting process and reconciliation of sales, including deferred & accrued income adjustments.
- Bank and credit card analysis.
- Processing employee expenses.

What they look for:

Skills and experience

- Degree qualified (minimum 2.1, preferably in a business/finance degree).
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a finance team.
- Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 or Sage One.
- Strong excel skills, with the ability to significantly expand this skillset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A confident telephone manner.

- Strong desire to move your career forward and develop into a Financial Controller role.

Salary: Up to £24k
Location: Glasgow
