Finance and Operation Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, highly motivated individual to join the head office of a company primarily involved in the mining and quarrying industry. This is a very hands-on position, managing to a high standard of detail the financial and central administration requirements of the company.

The position entails, amongst other things:

- Managing the day to day aspects of running a busy office
- Production of monthly Management and Statutory Accounts prior to Audit
- Deal with HMRC, VAT Returns, EC Sales Lists and PAYE
- Developing and controlling Supplier chains
- Close involvement with individual customers
- Proactive approach to Company Debtors and Creditors

The following qualities are considered to be essential requirements of prospective candidates:

- High level of leadership, organisational and motivation skills
- Experience of dealing with all levels of management including directors
- Numerate and accurate with an eye for details and a naturally diligent attitude
- IT literate with a working knowledge of Sage accounting systems
