This company designs, builds and installs bespoke wheelchair access lifts. Their prestigious Clients are based in London, UK and worldwide, and include Sydney Opera House, Bank of England and Qatar National Library. They are passionate about innovation, design and top quality engineering, to ensure their lifts never break down. They operate ISO9001 and a 'right first time' approach to everything. They won the Queens Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2016.

They are looking for a talented Field Service Engineer, who can install and service their complex lifts. The right candidate will thoroughly check their lifts, flag anything that is not 100% perfect, and work with their Operations Team until the lift is fully fixed. Full training will be given.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Lead on the installation of a company lift. This typically takes two weeks and concludes in commissioning.
- Lead on servicing of company lifts.
- Lead on call outs of company lifts.
- Hydraulics and automation works. A limited amount of electrical knowledge is required.
- Be able to deal professionally with site managers and Clients
- To follow all their health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

- A good understanding of hydraulics and automation, with practical hands on experience.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Days start and end at their base workshop in Byfleet Surrey KT14 7LF
- Most of the work is in London, but you will also need to work UK wide (with overnight stays) (about twice a month) and occasionally worldwide.
- start time 6am (from base) to miss the London traffic
- standard workhours 7.30 - 4.30 for days you are based in workshop
- standard 45 hours per week, with overtime available. overtime equivalent salary c £36k
- you will share a company van
