About the Role

Preplanned maintenance, breakdown repairs, calibration and testing on a wide range of garage equipment including vehicle lifts, MOT Test lanes, lubrication equipment, emission testers, wheel balancers, gas analysers and tyre machines. This role will involve regular travel to sites throughout Essex, Kent and Greater London but will rarely require the individual to stay away overnight.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience working as a Garage Equipment Engineer is preferable, but they may consider candidates with experience working within a mechanical or automotive environment, having worked on a range of different machine components which could include hydraulics, pneumatics, actuators, circuits, lifts etc.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- IT Literate.
- Enthusiastic, motivated and determined to see tasks through to completion.
- Flexible with good timekeeping skills.
- A great work ethic.
- Customer focussed with good communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and the ability to multi-task and deal with a fast-changing work environment; and to react rationally and calmly under pressure.
