This company is now recruiting for numerous Field Service Engineers in locations across the UK. They require experienced engineers to install, maintain and service their wide range of traditional and automatic coffee machines. With responsibility for ‘your patch’, you will visit client sites, often during their trading hours, to carry out the required work in line with the high standards set out in their Service Level Agreements.

Ideally with a passion for coffee, you will also have the opportunity to demonstrate the use of the machines and train baristas to use them safely.

You will be required to work with the call handling centre staff and fellow field service engineers to ensure that our machines are operating at optimum levels.

As an experienced electro mechanical engineer, you will assist with Pressure Boiler Inspections in line with Pressure Systems Regulations (PSSR 2000).

The ideal candidate will:
-have sound electro mechanical knowledge and be able to demonstrate the application of that knowledge in field based scenarios
- be able to demonstrate competence with mechanical assemblies, electrical fault finding / repairs and electrical safe working practices
- have some knowledge of basic electronics (desirable, but not essential)
- be physically fit, able to lift reasonable weights safely and without difficulty and must not be colour blind or deficient
- be available to work additional hours if required by the company to meet customer needs
- be available for a weekend rota (approximately 1 in 4)
- be a proactive individual who is a team player and is self-motivated with the ability to make on-going improvements with service related tasks.
- have a basic IT Knowledge to enable report through company systems
- be able to identify on-going issues and report back to line manager
- be a car driver with a full UK driving licence
- be well-presented and able to work in food environments with an understanding of food hygiene regulations
- have good communication skills with the ability to form effective working relationships with call handlers, managers, clients and colleagues

Coffee Field Service Engineers are provided with all the tools required for the job, including a van (which can be used for private use as well), tools, specialist equipment, ipad and a mobile phone.
