This is a unique opportunity to join a young company with a unique product. They design and develop slow motion cameras with customers using them in a diverse range of applications including research, machine inspection, video and broadcast and many others.
After a successful launch of their new 2,000 frames / second broadcast camera they need help to follow up leads, provide demonstrations and expand their connections through social media and direct contact. They want to concentrate initially on new customers in and around London but they also sell globally.
They are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person, probably starting out or early on in their career, to join their small team to develop their customer base. Initially following up existing leads from website enquiries and trade shows, the successful candidate will also reach out to new customers. They are not looking for a hard sales approach, but more of a customer liaison, business development function. They will consider anyone with the right attitude and ability to learn.
The successful candidate will be based at their office in London but will spend much of the time visiting customers and demonstrating the product to potential buyers. No specific previous experience is required but the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- A desire to grow your career with the company.Enthusiasm for the product and the industries we operate within.
- The ability to work alone and to be self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Some knowledge of the video / photography market would be advantageous but not required.
- The ability to demonstrate a high technology product (training will be provided).
- The ability to use social media to promote the company and product and generate new sales leads.
