Field 3rd Engineer Installs/Projects/Faults - Woking Surrey and Central London

An initial 6 month contract with a view to go perm for right candidate with Equity/Bonus.
This is a chance to join a small team at the beginning of an exciting journey. They are looking for a self-starter, who understands the pace of technology and how it has changed in last 5 years and how this will continue exponentially. You will be part of a fast-paced dynamic environment. You will be an integral part of the team, and at many times will have to work on your own initiative.
To start you will be based with one of their customers in Woking. You will be responsible for the day to day infrastructure and user support, while assisting the current onsite engineer to complete projects.
After the initial 3 months with this client in Woking, you will be working with their client base in Central London and there may be an extension or option for a permanent role.
Your experience and skill set;
- Proven ability with providing remote support on a range of technical issues upto 3rd Line.
- Happy to be a final escalation point with an understanding of ITIL principles.
- Confident within virtualisation with a working knowledge of either VMware or Hyper-V.
- Extensive troubleshooting experience with a background within an SLA led environment.
- Excellent customer facing skills, telephone manner, punctuality and timekeeping are of paramount importance.
- Good communication (both verbal and written) and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks/calls and be capable of working under pressure.
- Friendly, patient, well presented, organised and assertive individual who can work as part of a team.
- Any exposure with SAN / NAS Storage.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting MAC computers OS X.
Essential;
- Strong knowledge with Active Directory, MS Exchange, Windows Servers and Windows 7 and above.
- Networking knowledge LAN / WAN, TCP/IP in a multi-user environment with comprehensive understanding of wired and wireless networking principles, firewalls, routers, switches etc.
- MCSE, MCSA, CCNA and CCNP or other IT qualifications.
- Administrator and Implementation of Cloud/MSP Services (Office365, Cloud backup, Datto, Webroot, Solarwinds Remote Monitoring and Management solution RMM- Labtech, Kaseya etc).
Remuneration
Upto £200 daily for initial 6 months - moving to perm with equity
Hours: 40-hour week
Mon to Fri: 9am till 5.30pm
