Facilities Manager – 37 hours per week
Up to £41,423 pa (including essential car user allowance) (Salary as from 1 April 2017)

This facilities team provide an excellent service to the Council and its employees, ensuring that their land and building assets are maintained to high standards and are compliant with relevant legislation. If you are already working in a facilities team, and have good knowledge and skills associated with managing facilities, this could be the ideal opportunity for you. They need someone who can not only develop an Asset Management Plan, but someone who can also deliver it on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will need to be able to manage people and contracts and be highly organised and computer literate. This council is a great place to work, why not join them!

Their aim is to balance the needs of their customers and their employee expectations, so their normal office hours are 08:45-17:00 and they also offer a flexitime scheme to all permanent staff (with the exception of the staff in their Contact Centre). This means that you may work between the hours of 07.30 and 18.30 with your line manager's agreement; their core hours of work are between 10.00-12.00 and 14.00-16.00. In return they ask all of their employees to be flexible to ensure the council meets customer needs and expectations.
