The UK's market leader for e-cigarettes now requires a Facilities Manager to take responsibility for their buildings and leased premises, infrastructure, ongoing maintenance and servicing, and H&S

Roles & Responsibilities
- Cost effective procurement and negotiation of contracts across the owned and leased estate for:
o Security systems
o Fire alarms / emergency lighting / extinguishers
o Electrical equipment and wiring
o Air conditioning & heating
o Grounds maintenance & pest control
o Waste & hygiene management
o Utilities
o Printers
- Prioritising and managing ad hoc maintenance requirements and remedial works across property estate, carrying out minor repair work where use of an outside contractor is not justified
- Ensuring that all inspections / testing / certification is carried out in accordance with legislative/ statutory and insurance requirements
- Managing site cleanliness, parking, grounds maintenance and space planning, where applicable
- Maintaining and servicing corporate vehicles
- Monitoring and verifying quality of contractor work
- Maintaining the fixed assets, tools & machinery register
- Managing leases & declaring insurance requirements
- Taking the lead on H&S across the group including:
o Risk Assessments
o First Aid provision
o Accident reporting / data collection
- Liaising with project management team on new site roll outs, ensuring consistency with existing agreements & specifications.

Person Specification
- Experience in similar role
- Experience in H&S preferably IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
- Professional, confident, personable attitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Able to multi-task and prioritise
- Able to work well in a team or alone
- Able to quickly establish excellent working relationships
- Commercially aware
- Full driving licence.
