This company manufactures and supplies Transmission and Brake plates. A superb opportunity has arisen for an experienced Export Administrator to join their team within a busy shipping department. Your role will include a wide range of clerical and administrative tasks and assisting with the day-to-day duties.

To be considered for this role you must have previous experience working within an export role and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Fluency in another language is beneficial but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise and prepare invoices and documentation for the shipment of goods to customers.
- To analyse and promptly acknowledge customer orders including schedules and spot orders.
- To confirm best possible delivery dates to customers aligned to their requirements.
- Arrange transporting liaising with freight forwarders and shipping companies as necessary.
- Operate and maintain an efficient filing system.
- Generate monthly sales reports and monthly sales figures.
- Assist with annual stock takes.
- Assist Shipping manager as and when required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

- Good general business skills and knowledge of export shipping procedures and documentation.
- Excellent Telephone Manner and excellent communication skills are required, including ability to read, understand and carry out verbal and written instruction.
- Ability to organise work so it is done in an efficient manner.
- Effective under pressure and good team working skills.
- Capability to be trained to continually improve scope of work and skill level.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Application e.g. MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Three GCSEs at grade C or above or equivalent.
