This is an opportunity to join a well respected FITAS accredited installation business based in Kent, and was established with a focus on providing installation and maintenance services for large firms across the UK and Europe.

They are looking to appoint a multi skilled southern based field technician predominantly focussing on vehicle telematics installation. Experience with witness camera and multi camera with MDVR installations as well as a wide variety of after market automotive products would be an advantage. Existing FITAS approval would also be desirable but accreditation training for the right candidate would be provided. This company is growing and increasing its client base and service portfolio and is looking to provide an excellent package for the right individual.

The successful applicant will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card and all necessary peripherals to fulfil this role. You will be expected to possess own tool kit, except for any specialist equipment which will be provided. This role will suit someone who has a good base experience in this field and is looking for professional development, ongoing training and is open to working overtime and stay away overnight if necessary.

Responsibilities:
- To carry out the installation and configuration of a variety of telematic and aftermarket equipment including CAN integration into a variety of vehicles to a professional standard.
- To be confident in using technology to commission the equipment that has been installed.
- To update the electronic work diary, complete job sheets and close down jobs for contracting companies and their own computerised systems.
- To identify and resolve problems that occur on site with services, processes and systems.
- To be able to drive to various locations across UK and Europe.
- To work as part of a team and have excellent communication with management team.
- To be able to have positive communication with internal and external customers and partner companies that we work alongside with.
- To have a well equipped, maintained and organised tool kit. Keep their van stocked, making the office aware of any low level stock when required.
- To maintain a well kept professional appearance of both yourself and the company vehicle adhering to all uniform and vehicle check and maintenance criteria.
