Office base: Hessle, Hull.
Position: permanent position available
Salary: £19,000 - £25,000 pa
Hours: 37.5 hours per week to Monday to Friday

One of the world’s leading Health & Safety training providers are looking to recruit an experienced health and safety tutor. The successful candidate will join the student support team at the Hull-based, Hessle office supporting students completing IOSH, NEBOSH and NVQ qualifications/courses, up to and including the Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

It is essential the applicant holds GradIOSH status as a minimum.

As part of their investment in their teams, they provide a number of staff benefits including an annual training budget for professional development.

Duties would include:
- Providing learner support and marking student work to standard and schedule
- Taking ownership of the courses ensuring they remain current and are technically accurate
- Marking of student projects.
- Developing new course materials and providing quality assurance to fellow tutors
- Delivering IOSH/NEBOSH classroom courses as required.

There is an expectation to motivate/drive all learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines.

The applicant will need to be a professional and confident communicator with the ability to deliver training and support to a broad range of individuals. The applicant will need to be able to work as part of a diverse team, have excellent organisational skills and have a pro-active approach to work.
