This company is looking for an experienced handyman to work in Central London on a full time permanent contract. This company is a long-established company looking to expand and will offer a competitive salary and career opportunities, with training on and off the job.
The job role is to install and maintain locks, door operating equipment, new doors, security grilles and gates and to assist the access control engineers with installations of door entry and access control systems.
Working hours are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, and on call 1-2 days/nights per week for emergency call outs.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Have good customer service skills.
- Have a full clean UK driving licence.
- Be able to pass a DBS check for security reasons.
- Live close to London to be able to provide a prompt emergency response.
- Be IT literate and able to communicate effectively via email for reporting purposes.
- Have a good work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills.
