This busy boutique practice based in London SW18, work as an outsourced finance department for an interesting portfolio of clients ranging from start-ups to multi million pound global brands.

They provide bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, billing, credit control, management accounting and reporting services; they are committed to making every client feel like they are their most important one.

They need an experienced, competent bookkeeper who can cope with a busy and varied schedule of work. Essential requirements, attributes and qualities:

ICB, AAT qualified or part CIMA/ACCA qualified

Previous experience of working in a similar role to trial balance (management accounts experience desirable)

Experienced in computerised financial accounting packages (at least 2 years Xero experience)

Experience of month end reconciliation and analytical review

Numeracy, accuracy, attention to detail especially using spreadsheets and accounting software

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Good Excel skills

Problem solving skills

Able to work unsupervised using own initiative

Ability to cope with change

Ability to keep financial records and to prepare routine financial reports

Ability to create effective working relationship with team and clients

Ability to prioritise, plan and organise their work

Client focused approach

Process and procedure driven
