Office 365 and Exchange Consultant required. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic expanding Technology Business and immediately work on a large six month project with one of their key clients.

The Exchange Consultant supports the Consultancy arm of the company by ensuring that projects are delivered in line with the clients’ requirements.

As a Consultant you are in charge of overall, design and delivery of Exchange migrations and projects.

NB:- This particular role is based out of Luton at the Clients site for an initial 6 months. There then would be a requirement to go where the next migration is. The companies main HQ is Studley – Warwickshire.

In summary
- Representing company interests and promoting their ethics
- Providing the Sales team with a scope to assist their proposal
- Providing initial assessments of a client’s environment and documenting findings
- Writing up a precise High Level Design, Low Level Design and final handover document. Implementation to coincide with what has been designed.
- Conducting training where necessary
- Carrying out risk assessment as required
- Produce reports on the project progress at set intervals as defined by the Project Manager
- Using IT systems, which help keep track of progress
- Ensuring all aims of the project are met on time, within budget and to the client’s brief

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design Deliver Support Exchange Migration or an Exchange environment
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Prepare and maintain all project documentation such as; SoW, HLD, DLD, Proposals and documents as required
- Help to maintain project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects.
- Review existing design documentation
- Update documentation
- Review implementation work completed
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

REQUIREMENTS
- Great educational background, preferably in the fields of Information Technology
- Proven working experience in the information technology sector and/or delivering projects
- Good commercial acumen with contract interpretation skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of operating Exchange 2010 environments
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory 2003 -2008
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server 2003 - 2012
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience of HP & Dell Servers
- Office365 skills
