This is a leisure and entertainment complex, including tenpin bowling and a large soft play area, that also boasts a large Grill Bar Restaurant on the ground floor, the Deck Restaurant on the first floor, with a meeting room for 30 people and a prestigious function suite on the second floor that accommodates weddings, conferences and events for up to 250 people.
They are now looking for an Events Team Leader, who will assist the Events Manager with the safe, efficient and effective management of Ocean events, deputising for him/her in his/her absence as required. The Events Team Leader will assist the Events Manager and Management Team to communicate, implement and achieve the annual target Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), aims and objectives; providing leadership, motivation and coaching to the events team.

Your hours of work will be 45 per week, worked flexibly including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
Essential attributes:
- Experience in food & beverage operations and/or related environment
- I.T. competence in Word and Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing
- Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
- Leadership skills
- Time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Interest in leisure, hospitality and entertainment
Desirable attributes:
- Current First Aid at Work Certificate
- Level 2 Food Safety
- Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
