This varied role is a great opportunity for a capable Events professional to manage the delivery of all aspects of our Events, Training courses and materials, academic liaison, and the promotion of these, within our leading UK Trade Association.

The post will give you the chance to make a very visible contribution to an essential industry critical to the UK construction and manufacturing. sector. You'll be working as a key member within our Marketing Communications team. That means Marketing Events to Delegates from our Membership (as opposed to for example managing events at large venues,) and the content of our Events tends to focus on technical updates and development for those Delegates.

In short, you'll lead the project and event management of all our Events, Lectures, Exhibitions, Seminars, Conferences and Training courses. Another varied aspect of the role is that specific to Training provision, where you will be the liaison point with academics and lecturers to provide Training resources, which will include online training courses and webinars.

In turn you will have:

- Direct and relevant experience in Event Management and Marketing Promotion of those Events to a professional audience

- Experience working with a range of communication channels, and particularly online and email marketing.

- Good understanding of e-communications and digital Marketing and how they can enhance Event Marketing and Training delivery.

- A confident and strategically focused project manager and communicator, able to deal with a varied workload, e.g on one hand managing our university liaison programme, and then on the other dealing with senior management and gaining their input, all whilst working within a multi-disciplined team.
