Events Manager
This market leading property investment company is looking for an experienced Events Manager with a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a ‘can do’ attitude to join the team in Manchester. Working alongside their busy in house marketing team, this is a new role to take responsibility for their corporate events such as seminars and exhibitions. A fast paced environment in a steadily growing Property Investment business, this is an opportunity to start a truly rewarding career.
Events Manager Experience & Skills Required:
- At least 2 years’ experience as an Events Manager.
- Previous experience leading a team preferred.
- A confident personality with excellent communication skills.
- Strong admin skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and good general IT skills.
- Flexibility with hours and travel in order to attend weekend events across the UK and overseas.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Event Manager responsibilities:
- Organising a corporate events calendar, and ensuring the successful running from start to finish.
- Working closely with the Head of Marketing and Head of IT to generate leads and attendees.
- Sourcing and booking venues and guest speakers.
- Creating ways to draw in new attendees and make the events engaging.
- Creating itineraries for attending staff and coordinating shipping of marketing materials.
- Ensuring events are kept within budget.
