They are Europe’s leading brand in outdoor leisure that manufactures and distributes camping and caravanning equipment throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. They are looking for an extremely enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join their Events and Training Team.

This job role will include helping the Events and Training Co-ordinator set up and plan exhibitions at different venues across the UK and throughout Europe. This will involve the planning and preparation for the shows, building up the stand, providing product information to the public during the exhibition and then finally taking down the stand at the end of the show.

In between shows, the job will include assisting members of the sales team to help retailers with their displays and deliver product training in store. The role does require some overnight stays; the individual will be working alongside the sales team so a good candidate would be someone outgoing and sociable.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assist with setting up and dismantling of trade/consumer exhibitions which may involve working away from home.
- Demonstrate to customers strong product knowledge and to provide product training (full product training will be given to the successful candidate).
- To assist with the setup of retail displays (tent and awning pitching) which may involve working away from home.
- Work independently and as part of a sales team at exhibitions and trade shows.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with customer accounts and their key personnel.

Key requirements:

- Excellent communication skills and confident when dealing with both customers and consumers.
- Be flexible with working away and overnight stays which can be up to 7-10 days with some European travel.
- Be flexible with working hours as some days may require an early start/late finish and be able to work weekends as requested.
- Be physically fit to build up and set down customer events and public exhibitions.
- Computer literate.
- Industry knowledge advantageous but not essential to start.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Hold valid travel documents.

Based in Little Braxted, Witham the normal hours are 9.00 – 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday but as stated above, working hours will be vary.
