Creating renowned events, they have built strong communities across these industries by not only connecting key buyers and sellers but also keeping clients informed through their magazines and online offerings.
This enabled an agile and flexible approach when CoronaVirus hit, giving them the opportunity to take their much loved events to the virtual arena. They have now produced several virtual events which have gone very well.
They are currently looking for tenacious and enthusiastic self-starters to join the growing sales team in their Wallington/Sutton office.
They want to speak to you whether you are already pursuing a successful career in event and/or media sales or looking to develop one.
Your role will be to develop and maintain client relationships and generate sales by telephone and face-to face-meetings (where situation allows) in a fast-paced environment. Working across both Project and supplier delegate sales you will gain a wide and deep understanding of the business.
You will also need to visit client sites, as well as attending events and trade-shows in and outside of the UK so willingness to travel is essential. As is a full UK driving licence and roadworthy vehicle.
You will need to be competitive; goal oriented; sociable and outgoing with at least a year under your belt in a sales environment, preferably with a background in events, print and/or online. Although this is not essential... If you have the right go-getting attitude then they want to hear from you!
