This rapidly expanding sub-contractor in the fit out / construction market is looking for an Estimator to join their friendly, dynamic team.
You will be based at their head office in Central London, just a short walk from Liverpool Street Station. They have an excellent reputation within their marketplace and always promote from within, so can guarantee rapid progression for the right candidate.
Duties & responsibilities include; -
- Report to the Commercial Director prior to tender submissions.
- To assist and produce priced tenders that are accurate, clearly detailed and competitive
- Maintain good relationships with prospective clients and professionals to promote further tender invitations
- Attend Project Visits/Site Meetings
- Ensure tenders are submitted completely and accurately within time scales provided
- Develop & maintain working relationships with appropriate sub-contractors
- Assist with pre-qualification of new subcontractors
- Evaluate returns/quotations from suppliers/sub-contractors
- Prepare commercial documents/tender submission packs.
They are ideally looking for someone degree educated with previous estimating experience of at least 2 years’ experience. You will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a professional attitude.
