This company is a distributor for a number of overseas pump manufacturers and is responsible for the marketing, sales, service and technical support of their products in the UK. The main markets served are the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical and Power Generation industries.
The role includes: -
- Management of the day to day operation of the company, reporting directly to the company’s managing director
- Management of three internal sales engineers and the workshop manager
- Management of relationships with suppliers and key customers
- Provision of assistance and advice in the sales office and workshop as necessary
- Provision of problem solving and technical support for clients
- Visiting & meeting customers and principal suppliers as and when required
Skills & Experience required: -
- Pump industry and engineering management experience
- Excellent communication and man-management skills
- Technically minded; preferably with mechanical, chemical or electrical engineering qualifications
- Computer literate
- Driving License suitable for use in the UK
- Living within a reasonable commute of Woking, Surrey
