This ambitious business provides training solutions and workforce development consultancy to employers across the East Midlands and nationally. Celebrated as Good by OFSTED in September 2016 across all areas of their business, you can be assured that their recruitment solutions, routes to employment programmes, apprenticeships, traineeships and bespoke courses will deliver meaningful impact to careers and companies. The roles will initially be based at their new Mansfield Training Centre. Travel to other sites may be required, therefore a driving licence and access to a car is essential.

These are full time, fixed term roles until at least March 2018 with potential to extend to 2020! As they are in a growth phase, there may also be permanent opportunities in the future.

Enhanced DBS clearance is also required for this position.

These roles are part funded by the Skills Funding Agency and European Social Fund.

You will be working predominantly with young learners aged 16-24 on their Step Forward Programme, a Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and European Social Fund (ESF) programme, teaching essential work skills, such as customer care and teamwork, supporting their learners to become work ready. Help their young people successfully secure interviews by developing their interviewing, CV writing, job search and interpersonal skills through a mixture of group learning, one-to-one sessions and via e-learning platforms. You will effectively manage and progress learners with varying levels of ability, to make them work ready, progress onto their traineeship programmes, apprenticeships and ultimately into sustained employment.

You will be an effective communicator, able to successfully engage learners and overcome their barriers to learning. You will be able to provide fun and engaging learning sessions, supporting learners into employment. You will have the ability to coach, develop and mentor people with the ability to manage difficult situations calmly. Proven experience of delivering training, managing classrooms and assessing learners would be a distinct advantage.

They have three thriving centres in Beeston, Nottingham and Derby where they provide local people with the skills and qualifications they need to flourish in the workforce. Their growth plans involve increasing the number of businesses they work with throughout the Midlands to drive turnover to £10m in two years and they are looking for people with a passion for helping local people and local businesses to help them achieve these goals.
