Reporting to the Managing Director you will have the opportunity to be part of a small but dynamic company that sells niche security systems and solutions to a global market from right here in Scotland.
The company has been trading for over 30 years and is now seeking a new Electronics and Production Engineer as part of the succession planning of the business.
With direct input to company growth, your role will be to take responsibility for maintaining product quality and in turn increasing sales. This role requires someone with broad electronics experience and will interest someone who wants to be responsible for their own future rather than sitting as part of a large company or team.
To be of interest you will be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:-
Key Skills
- Broad electronics experience – analogue, digital & mixed signal
- Circuit build, test and debug
- Hardware design for real products and be able to ensure designs are suitable for manufacture and sale
- PC software and hardware assembly
Desirable
- Knowledge of the security detection systems is useful but not essential
- Knowledge of PCB layout
- Good Interpersonal communication skills
This role is based out of the company offices in Stirling day to day but will require typically three overseas trips per year approximately one week each to the USA, Europe and Far East.
