Are you an experienced Electrical NVQ Assessor looking for an exciting new challenge? Would you like an opportunity to work for one of the leading providers of electrical training in the country? If this sounds exciting, then we may have an opportunity for you!

We are looking for an experienced Electrical NVQ Assessor to join our team to help us develop and deliver our electrical NVQ qualifications. Set up by the UK’s most respected electrical engineering author and trainer, we have supported the education and development of learners for decades.

What the Assessor role involves:

As an Assessor you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our Electrical NVQ qualifications. The Assessor will be peripatetic, so location is not important as the role can be home based with travel to meet candidates as and when required. Our offices are based in Portsmouth and Chelmsford and we are also looking to open a new office in Birmingham imminently so there will be an office base in these locations if required.

Your Skills and Experience:

The Assessor will be assessing NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation, so you will need to be qualified and have occupational competence to assess this qualification. The Assessor must hold an assessing qualification - A1 or equivalent.

You must also be a people person who is able to develop and maintain a good rapport with the learners and management to provide a high quality service to their customers.

- PTTLS or a teaching qualification
- Relevant qualifications and experience/occupational competence in your trade.
- Highly motivated, excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach to work to achieve excellent results.
- Ability to work on your own initiative with good organisational skills.
- Willingness to travel.
