Due to continued expansion, this company is currently seeking Commercial/Industrial Electrician at their manufacturing facility in Indian Queens.
They are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.
The successful candidate shall work within the electrical department, reporting to the Electrical supervisor your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:
Panel building and bespoke equipment electrical fit outs at their manufacturing facility.
Carry out electrical installation and commissioning activities on-site throughout the UK and Ireland, enhanced hourly rate would apply dependant on experience.
The Successful candidate will have served a recognised City and Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship.
- 17th edition certification.
- Competent in understanding/reading electrical drawings.
- Experience with panel building.
- Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
- Be able to communicate well at all levels
- Hold a full UK driving license.
Experience in the water industry and manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous.
Other desirable qualifications (but not essential)
- CSCS card.
- Confined Space.
- First Aid at work.
- CompEx.
Usual working hours are 8:00 to 17:15 Mon-Thur and Fri 8:00 to 13:00 with excellent holiday provisions. The position will require travel nationally when required to complete installation and commissioning activities.
