Whether it be the design, development and manufacture of electrical and electronic assemblies, specialising in cable assembly solutions for harsh environments, the design and development of explosion proof equipment or the creation of unique prototypes for their customers and partners.

Operating from a state of the art, fully equipped 40,000 sq ft design and manufacturing facility in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Centrally located, with easy access to the M1 and A1 motorway network.

They are now looking to add a Graduate through to Senior Engineer to there team based in Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham, salary will be based on experience.

Responsibilities include:

- The advanced prototyping and development of products and projects.
- Working side by side with technical staff to utilize design elements that directly add value to prototyping methods, providing innovative ideas where applicable.
- Performing a variety of engineering functions associated with R&D process development and proving concepts with real end products.
- Hands on product development, modelling and reporting of results.
- Statistical analysis, quality control, using tools such as flow-charting, design and drafting support and document control.
- Writing programs for a wide range of prototypes and products.
- Critical thinking, able to determine appropriate engineering methods, techniques, and procedures for new assignments.
- Soldering & PCB assembly.
- Assemble, Disassemble, Fault find and Repair and reassemble Electro-Mechanical equipment.
- Prepares complete and timely documentation, including updating work order status
- You must be self-motivated. As work is often unsupervised and covers multiple responsibilities there is a need to schedule, prioritise and pick up work as necessary.

Qualifications:

- 2:2 Degree or higher in a Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic/Control/Software Engineering or Similar
- Understands how to draw schematic on 2D CAD Packages - ‘AutoCAD LT’
- Confidence with 3D CAD Packages – ‘Onshape & AutoCAD Inventor’
- Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Valid driving licence.

Job Type: Full Time (Permanent).

Salary: Negotiable - Dependent on experience.
