Full time position for Nottingham based company manufacturing Printing Presses which are exported worldwide. Due to growth, we now require an experienced Control Systems Electrician/Panel Wirer to join our team and carry out Programming , panel wiring and electrical fitting of special purpose machinery.
The successful candidate will have a strong practical Electrical background with sound knowledge of Panel Wiring, able to read & work to Schematic Electrical Drawings, they will be able to build & install panels & fault find.
They will have strong communication skills, with the ability to work within a team & on their own initiative.
Experience in Panel design combined with PLC & Servo programming technology an advantage.
The position is based in Bingham, Nottingham but occasional travel overseas and within UK will be required.

The position would suit an experienced Person with City & Guilds or HNC/HND qualifications who is ambitious to learn latest technologies and apply that to practical applications. Inspection & 17th Edition qualifications an advantage.
Essential Skills
- Development of PLC and HMI systems (ideally Schneider, Bosch Rexroth, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Rockwell)
- On-site Testing and Commissioning
- Panel Building & Testing
- Fault finding
Desirable Skills
- Experience producing project documentation (e.g. FDS, FAT)
- PLC and HMI Hardware specification
- Knowledge of other programming languages, VB, C#
- Electrical Design
