This award-winning and fast-growing online speciality food retailer is looking for an eCommerce Assistant. This all-round role is split roughly 50/50 between customer service and online marketing, with a particular focus on catalogue management.

Reporting directly to the founders, you'll play a critical role in delivering customer satisfaction and making their online store even better. A structured progression plan is offered to grow your expertise and salary as you develop in this role.

This is a full-time, permanent role based in their office near Hornsey train station, London N8. Hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime during peak and stocktake.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Monitoring the office phone, email, and social channels, prioritising and responding to or escalating issues arising
- Taking telephone orders
- Arranging special orders, including liaising with suppliers, providing quotes, following up
- Handling customer returns
- Resolving damaged or incorrect orders
- Monitoring and handling exceptions arising from our carriers
- Locating missing parcels and processing claims for lost and damaged parcels with our carriers
- Resolving stock outs with customers
- Monitoring external feedback systems and responding to customers through those channels
- Maintaining proper records of refunds, damaged items, returns and warehouse issues

Digital Marketing
- Preparing visual assets including banners, flyers, display adverts and emails
- Executing PR campaigns including contacting journalists and influencers with samples, images and product information
- Improving website SEO through keyword analysis, content editing, linkbuilding
- Social media community management

Catalogue Management
- Creating and publishing website content including images, recipes, product descriptions, categorisation and other data
- Merchandising product collections
- Proof reading and checking product information
- Executing sales and promotions
