A fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing window blind manufacturer. A vacancy is now available for an eCommerce assistant at their site in Bottesford. The purpose of this role is to revamp and produce new product content to agreed timescales, quality standards and cost constrains.

Person Spec

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
- Mature, responsible, and self-motivated with a strong work-ethic and follow through
- English and Maths GCSE
- Photoshop experience

Job Responsibilities

Working alongside the Managing Director and Digital Marketing Manager you will assist with the overall day to day responsibilities relating to the online product portfolio. This will include but not be limited to the following tasks:

Assisting to maintain the integrity of the product catalogue including imagery, descriptions and technical information.

Launching and listing new products on the marketplaces and updating existing content based on advised merchandising and marketing strategies, ensuring that the brand’s tone and styling is consistent.

Writing clear, accurate and creative product descriptions that are consistent with brand voice and SEO best practice.

Ensuring all required product information including dimensions, product features and safety/fitting info is uploaded to the website accurately within time frames.

Uploading product images using the correct file type and maintaining the integrity of the product image directory.

Confirming all products are showing in corresponding filters and categories on the website.

Assisting with other project work when required.

Essential Skills

- Excellent written English
- Minimum of 'C' grade GCSE (or equivalents) in English and Maths
- Experience of listing products to eBay, Amazon & websites
- Knowledge of SEO
- Focused and meticulous, high level of accuracy and eye for detail
- Computer literate and experienced in written product promotion
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload and time effectively
- An interest in interior design would be beneficial

- Competitive salary of £17,000 – £20,000 dependant on experience.

- Holidays 20 days plus Bank Holidays increasing after 2 years of service by 1 additional holiday day per year up to a maximum of 25.
