This nursery has a vacancy available working with their pre-school aged children (2½ – 4 years old). The position will be working 8.00am – 1.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am – 2.45pm on Fridays on a term time only basis.
The ideal candidates would show an enthusiasm to adapting to new challenges on a daily basis, being flexible in their approach to work and willing to turn their hand to any task that comes up.
Your key roles will be:
- Planning and delivering challenging, engaging and enjoyable activities
- Forming relationships with the children, enabling them to be comfortable in their surroundings and providing an environment where they can play and explore
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care and education
They require someone with a minimum of a relevant Level 2 childcare qualification for this position.
Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Basic Food Hygiene qualifications are desirable but not essential as ongoing training will be given.
Experience of working with Tapestry or similar online learning journal system would also be beneficial but again not essential as training will be provided.
