This company is one of the world’s leading distributors of video games, consoles and accessories to customers worldwide. Since 2009 this company has grown rapidly into one of Croydon’s most successful companies, they now need driven, ambitious and motivated individuals to help drive our growth further.

As a key member of the Sales and Purchasing Team, you will be responsible for coordinating sales, customer service and promotional activities for any sales activity through their new web shop. The successful candidate will enjoy providing excellent sales support as well as driving sales through clever marketing and coordination with the Sales and Purchasing Team.

They will act as the first point of contact for anything web shop related. Their web shop will be an integral component of their customer’s experience so they need someone who is technically minded and can use this knowledge to target and focus promotional and other sales generation techniques.

Duties
- Updating and maintaining all areas of the website
- Conducting promotional activities
- Providing sales support and excellent customer service
- Analysing sales data for further sales opportunities eg, to inform promotions
- Encouraging repeat sales through targeted upselling or bespoke deals
- Producing reports for management
- Coordinating sales activity with the sales team
- Resolving customer complaints and issues
- Acting as the first point of contact for the website
- Upload and change product information and imagery
- Take part in Sales and Purchasing meetings
- Project work
- Any other wider organisational activities
- Learning and development activities

Requirements

Experience, knowledge and qualifications
- Previous experience in e commerce sales / marketing
- Experience of maintaining an e commerce platform
- Experience of using a content management system (Dynamic Web would be an advantage)
- Using Microsoft office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel
- Relevant knowledge of marketing, sales and promotion
- Knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes
