Salary: 16-20k + profit related bonus

A rapidly growing E-Commerce Retailer and Web Services provider based in Colchester is looking to hire an E-Commerce/Web Content Executive to join their growing team. This is a newly created role for the business due to ambitious organic growth, this is a great chance for a talented individual to join a passionate and forward thinking team.

Work in a fun and lively environment on the Severalls Industrial Estate in Colchester where you will feel welcomed into the team instantly. The office has been newly refurbished, with a staff room boasting an Xbox One and a pool table available to let off some steam at break times and your wellbeing will be looked after with fortnightly massages and a well stocked kitchen.

Key responsibilities:
- Working with outsourced data entry staff to ensure new products are listed in an accurate and timely manner
- Work closely with external content writers to develop strong product descriptions.
- Upload and management of products to multiple channels for internal and client websites.
- Working with web services clients to ensure their website content is relevant and accurate.
- Review of current product ranges for both internal websites/channels and client websites and provide strategic analysis on product development and price competitiveness.
- Collaborate with the E-Commerce Manager ensuring sales margins are within agreed limits.
- Engage in product marketing through email and social media

Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Magento or similar E-Commerce platform
- Basic ability with HTML and CSS
- Ebay, Amazon and other 3rd Party Marketplaces
- ChannelAdvisor or similar Inventory platforms
- Ability to work quickly with spreadsheets - Understanding of advanced formulae and macros

What is expected:
- Strong Communication Skills
- Very analytical
- Good understanding of Magento or similar platforms
- Excellent Time management skills

You will be expected to use multiple inventory and CMS systems. An ability to learn new IT systems quickly and efficiently is a requirement.
