This leading specialist in the design and manufacture of Mechanical Seals and Support Systems is looking to recruit a Driver / Labourer.
You will collect and deliver pumps from their customer sites over the SE/SE S/Wales and Midland region, assist engineers on and off site, clean and prep pumps for re-assembly in workshop.
Also to be involved in and receipting in checking goods/spares, packaging and dispatch whilst also maintaining/checking facilities stock holdings.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Driving - collecting and delivering pumps, parts, goods etc (customer acing)
- Working on site alongside fitters and assisting where needed
- Working in the branch carrying out the tasks as listed below:
- Shot blasting components
- Cleaning pump components either in hot wash or by hand as required
- Assisting the engineers on strip and build of pumps
- Painting, greasing & pdi of pumps before despatch
- Checking in deliveries against delivery notes, correct parts, not damaged etc.
- Checking stock in the stores matches reported stock levels, report back any discrepancies.
- Liaising with office admin for paperwork, job packs etc.
