This company is looking to replace a valued employee after 12 years of service as an experienced driver/site support/cleaner and logistics manager to join their busy team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and not afraid to be hands on, be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work. Have the ability to work independently and use initiative whilst being part of a team is essential.
Duties will include:
- Driving and delivering/collecting materials to numerous construction sites across London and surrounding areas. When on site carry out all types of cleaning including high level cleaning as instructed and to operate plant on site as well as organise them.
- Training and monitoring other cleaner’s works and ensuring all health and safety regulations are being done correctly.
- Ensuring the supply of materials held in company stores are replenished and available for delivery to sites
- Maintaining equipment before and after collection from site
- To build & dismantle towers (PASMA training to be provided if required)
- To clean high level glazing off machinery such as scissor lift, cherry picker and spiders (IPAF licence will be required but training given if not).
Must have:
- Full clean EU or UK driving licence (must be over 25 for insurance purposes)
- CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme)
- Previous experience cleaning on building sites
- A head for heights
- Previous experience driving in London
- Able to work alone, in a team and use own initiative
- Excellent communication & people skills
- Good written English required
- A willingness to be flexible with working hours & some weekend work
- Ensure a high standard of cleaning and customer service
- Is able to work under pressure
Desirable Requirements:
- Licence for IPAF / PASMA preferable
- Knowledge of DIY (to clean & repair equipment)
Working Times:
Monday to Friday, however some weekends
Flexible hours
Approximately 45 hours per week
This position also includes using company vehicle (several seater bus/van)
