The Job
They are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Drainage Engineer

The successful applicant will join the reactive maintenance team undertaking planned works, emergency call-outs, general repair work, and HPW jetting works of predominately smaller diameter systems.

You will be able to confidently communicate with their clients. Have a good understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and a proven track record of industry knowledge.

All candidates must have a good all round knowledge and experience in high pressure jetting, CCTV surveys and repair works and be willing to be part of a call rota for out of hours work.

Essential
Ability to carry out the following
- Drain repairs
- New drain installs
- Structural drain lining
- High Pressure Jetting
- Drainage CCTV (labelling and recording)
- CAT Scanning to trace/locate the drainage system using sonde
- To be suitable for this role you will require transport to commute to and from your place of work.
- Excellent standard of customer care
- Problem solving approach to projects
- Good all round drainage knowledge on external and internal systems
- Industry relevant certifications although additional training will be provided.

Desirable
- Ability to complete small repairs - replacement gullies, rest bend, small sections of shallow pipework
- Reinstatement of various different domestic surface types (Paving Slabs, Block Paving, Cold Lay Tarmac, Concreting etc.)
- IPAF qualification
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the driving/Operation of HGV Class II vehicles. (Experience preferably with Tankers/Liquids)
- Class 2 Driving license

Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
