This leading specialist in the design and manufacture of Mechanical Seals and Support Systems is looking for an experienced and professional PA to provide first line secretarial and administration support primarily to the Sales Directors. You will be the first point of contact to internal and external customers to uphold exceptional customer service.

This is a part time role of four full days - ideally Tuesday - Friday. Please include in your application details of your preferred hours for discussion.

You will remain professional at all times and will be trusted to handle confidential information in a discretionary manner.

Key responsibilities:

- Working as part of a small team in the Upminster Sales Office
- Create and maintain the diary of the Directors as requested, to a high standard to enable them to manage their time
- Dealing with incoming emails, faxes and post; often corresponding on behalf of the Directors
- Organising and attending meetings when required whilst ensuring the Director is well prepared as appropriate.
- Providing general assistance throughout presentations if required
- Administrating the expenses and credit card payments for the Director and the sales team
- Carrying out background research and presenting findings
- Producing and preparing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations in support of the Director's work
- Co-ordinate and booking both UK and overseas travel and accommodation as required

The ideal candidate must be:

- RSA Typing (or equivalent) to Level III standard – speed yet maintain accuracy
- Ability to work in a demanding/pressurised environment
- IT literate and competent in all MS Office packages
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written (grammar, spelling etc)
- Proven exceptional organisation skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Experience within a secretarial role
- Proven experience of complex accommodation and travel booking and itineraries
- Previous experience of diary management
- Previous experience working within a busy customer focused environment

You should be an effective communicator and have a good understanding of confidential issues and the use of discretion where required.
