This non-profit distributing organisation was established to promote and provide community leisure opportunities, in partnership with public, private and voluntary sector partners. They are responsible for the provision of leisure centres, parks and entertainment venues in East Devon and South Somerset.
This subsidiary was been established to undertake commercial trading, raising funds for the parent charity. This will include the provision of food and beverage, hospitality and events at the facilities in Exmouth.
This facility has ten-pin bowling, a bar and grill and a family entertainment centre on the ground floor, and a large soft play centre with a family-friendly viewing area and café on the first floor, plus the Deck coffee lounge and evening restaurant with stunning views. The second floor Ocean Suite is an impressive venue for weddings, conferences and events, with panoramic views of the coastline and estuary.
They are seeking to recruit a Director for LED Enterprises to complement the skills of the existing directors and to help provide strategic direction.
The Board would particularly welcome applications from individuals with experience in the hospitality industry at a senior level.
The position is voluntary and unpaid, although expenses will be available. Most Board meetings are held in East Devon on a monthly basis.
