This company is experiencing exceptional growth and has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Operations to join them at their Head Office in Newmarket, Suffolk.

The successful candidate is required to spearhead their operation as they expand across multiple sites and establish national operations.

This company is a leading manufacturer and supplier of practitioner-specified procedure packs (CPT), dressing packs, medical disposable and theatre products to healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisational and man management skills plus a proven track record in implementing and growing a distribution operation. You will be commercially aware and IT proficient and have the ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels. Knowledge of the medical sector is advantageous but not essential.

Key responsibilities include leadership of the Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Facilities and Engineering Departments. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to devising and implementing strategies to further grow the company.

Their Director of Operations will be responsible for::

- Developing, implementing and managing the strategic and tactical approaches required to drive effective use of operations resources and continuous improvement efforts
- Managing the internal Moulding, Warehouse and Clean Room departments through direct reportees
- Overseeing and directing the planning, implementation and maintenance of production processes
- Developing, implementing and ensuring systems comply with company and industry regulatory requirements for quality, safety and environmental considerations appropriate to national requirements
- Continually review processes to ensure overall efficiency optimisation.
