This specialist dental company provide digital X-ray and imaging products exclusively to the dental market.
With a customer base across the UK there is a requirement for travel and field based work.  The role will be an approximate split of 60/40 between time spent in the field and remainder working remotely from home office supporting our customers remotely via IP telephone.

This is an interesting and rewarding role that requires a high level of motivation and commitment to achieve their standards of customer satisfaction. If you have an aptitude for problem solving, an eye for detail with previous experience in a similar technical role, though this does not necessarily have to be X-Ray based and a desire to learn new skills they would like to hear from you.

Full comprehensive and ongoing x-ray training will be provided by the company and their suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities
-Install X-Ray and imaging equipment
(Full manufacturer training will be given) 
- Hand over and train the end user on the operation of equipment and software
- Remote and onsite repair work to find identify problems and implement solutions for the same.
- Maintain and service equipment on customer sites.
- Provide technical support for hardware and software related issues  
- Provide remote 2nd level support to the service desk
- Maintain a personal development programme as agreed with line manager
 
Key skills required for the role include:
 
Essential
- Electrical Engineering Degree or similar
- Vocational Experience in a similar role
- Enthusiastic, passionate, patient and should be a critical thinker
- Able to work under own initiative
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills, Technical aptitude and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrate good personal organisational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good understanding of Desktop operating systems
- A broad understanding of windows networking
- Good aptitude for background in IT
- Full UK Driving Licence
 
Desirable
- Previous experience working with equipment in the Dental/medical/ veterinary sector.
 
Working hours 9 to 5.30pm but may be required work flexible hours to accommodate the field based Role.
Remuneration package is commensurate with experience.
