This established creative and development agency is looking for a Digital Proofreader with an excellent eye for detail to join their brilliant team working across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.

Ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard, whilst understanding pharmaceutical compliance and the digital marketing lifecycle, will be essential for this role. You will be responsible for proofreading, user acceptance testing, and the creation of approval documentation to support project delivery.

Core duties and responsibilities will include the following:

- Reporting to the QA Manager, you will perform quality assurance reviews of digital assets and deliver to project managers within allocated timelines. This review will include:
o Spelling, grammar, and punctuation checks
o Code compliance checks
o Testing the functionality of iSells, emails, and links within websites
o Metadata, tags, and alt-text checks
- Ensure that all client instructions and specifications have been followed and that all questions have been addressed
- Ensure the digital content, format, and professional appearance of the deliverables are of the highest quality
- Provide support to existing QA team
- Verify match of type styles and layout within digital design artwork
- Check headings, bullets, paragraphs, format, kerning, leading, text justification, headers and footers, indentations, page flow, artwork and graphics, call outs, punctuation, proper names, and spelling
- Confirm all text has been translated into target language (where applicable)
- Creating approval documentation including final form PDF documents and manuscripts

Skills and experience:

- Attention to detail, accuracy, and patience are essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite applications is essential
- Expert understanding of written English
- Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work well under pressure and/or stressful conditions
- Must possess the ability to manage changes, delays, or unexpected events appropriately, and prioritise workload effectively
- Writing/editing/proofreading experience preferred
- Ability to mark-up PDFs in Adobe Acrobat in an easy-to-understand style is desirable
- Experience in healthcare and a familiarity with medical terminology would be of benefit
- UAT experience desired, but not essential
