You will design, build & deliver digital PR/outreach campaigns for our clients (numbering 60+), in the legal sector. Working in the SEO team, you will build & manage the process; identifying sites to target, contacting site owners/pitch content, write the content (or brief a Copywriter) & ensure it’s delivered on time. You will have support from other members of the team but will primarily be responsible for your own workload & meeting deadlines. Using your enthusiasm for PR, content marketing & digital marketing, and with excellent communication skills, this is a fantastic opportunity.

Design
- Design the outreach programme, document processes/systems to track work & ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain a database of sites
- Ensure content is delivered on spec & on time
- Liaise with clients/Account Manager

Outreach
- Identify sites to target & run technical (SEO) checks to ensure quality
- Find creative angles to pitch
- Contact site owners/journalists, build relationships, pitch content
- Plan content & brief copywriters
- Ensure content is proofed (or delegate to a colleague)

Professional knowledge
- Be aware of the latest developments in digital PR/outreach, & SEO
- Minimum 1 year experience in a digital marketing role (digital PR/outreach, or journalism)
- Managing (directly or via an agency) outreach campaigns
- Knowledge of best practice/principles of outreach
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, including pitching/PR (creating a buzz around content)
- Managing your own workload, delegating & ensuring it’s delivered
- Organisational, project & time-management skills
- A basic understanding of the legal market
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of data manipulation & analysis (Excel)
- Google Analytics, Ahrefs
- Self-motivation

Salary & Benefits:
- Dependent on experience but expected to be in the range of £22,000-£28,000
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
- Contributory Pension (3% from the company, 5% from you)

Other Details:
- BS1 location
- Monday to Friday
- 37.5 hours per week
- 9.00am to 5.30pm (unless otherwise agreed)
- As part of the role you may be expected to travel to clients’ offices from time to time; sometimes this may involve out of hours travel
