This company comprises a group of successful and diverse companies operating in a range of business and consumer markets and employing more than 100 people in the UK, USA and Canada. They manage nine brands and 10 websites (with another four planned) from their HQ near Langtoft, Peterborough.

They’re seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to help manage their company websites and strengthen their online presence. You’ll be helping to co-ordinate the digital and technical aspects of their marketing; this means you’ll be ‘living online’ - inside their websites, and within the data, digital systems and platforms that support their performance. This should be an environment you’re happy to inhabit!

They are looking for enthusiasm, a genuine interest in digital marketing, and an ability to demonstrate your knowledge. You’ll have a minimum of 2 ‘A’ Levels, or an appropriate, equivalent Level 3 (or higher) qualification. Alternatively, you’ll have a minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate SEO activities across all websites, including making changes to meta-data
- Implement social advertising and re-marketing
- Co-ordinate website technical performance, including taking corrective action
- Upload on-page content (including text, images and rich media) via each CMS
- Set up email and survey campaigns and co-ordinate PPC campaigns
- Monitor and export Analytics reports, maintain spam-free data
- Assist in other marketing activity and new website development
- Work with external developers, designers and other agencies and co-ordinate their work
- Attend trade exhibitions throughout the year

Skills:
- Take ownership of regular digital activities
- Understanding of Content Management Systems (including WordPress), ability to learn new systems
- Understanding of social media and social marketing
- Interest in website build & maintenance; understanding of eCommerce sites an advantage.
- Appreciation of SEO; including PPC, back-linking, meta-data, keywords and research.
- Knowledge of SEO tools - such as SEOMoz, AHREF, Majestic SEO an advantage
- Understanding of Google AdWords, display ads and campaign management
- Understanding of or interest in Google Analytics, Search Console and other monitoring tools
- Knowledge of email campaign & online survey platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud / Photoshop an advantage
- Good time management and multi-tasking skills
- Confidence to propose new solutions where they benefit the performance of our websites
- Good communication and administrative skills; numerate, logical, and comfortable with data
