One of the leading Broadcast Services companies in the UK is embarking on a series of exciting new online projects to expand their broadcast services portfolio, including the development of IP delivery television channels (OTT services and VOD services), eCommerce and production of short and long form video content for delivery online and for broadcast on traditional TV channels.

A Digital Manager is required to manage some of these online activities - to propose and manage the delivery of the websites to build and manage the brand online, and to work closely with a variety of channel operators and content owners to deliver their digital vision.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the enthusiasm to develop, nurture and grow this online element to the successful brand.

Responsibilities:

- Building and running Social Media campaigns using tools like Facebook and Twitter, to engage with viewers and shoppers, develop and build user generated content for the websites, and feed back into the TV production arms
- The candidate must be comfortable establishing and running Social Media campaigns, including tracking and reporting on the effectiveness of the activity.
- The successful candidate will also work closely with retailers and suppliers of tangible products to monetize the website and video production, through eCommerce, sponsorships, product placement and other revenue sharing and revenue generating opportunities.
- They will work closely with existing Technical and Commercial managers, channel owners and operators, and third party suppliers.

Key Skills & Experience

- Experience using CMS tools.
- Understands all the aspects of building a successful website – from graphics to light coding, video to forums, shops to social - and all the tools that will make successful, modern websites, including search engine optimisation (SEO)
- Familiar with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Blogger, Wix and/or Shopify
- Experience running and tracking Social Media campaigns.
- Confidence in managing a range of customers and internal and external suppliers to deliver digital services.

Location and Salary

Based at offices in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire with occasional travel to modern Central London offices, with TV studio activities taking place in Battersea (near Clapham Junction).
